The frost hits Bordeaux vineyard on 27th & 28th of April 2017. We have not been spared.

Now that we finished to pick the grapes, we can really evaluate the damages we suffered:

70% of loss on our white grapes vineyards.

35% of loss on our red grapes vineyards located in Entre Deux Mers.

85% of loss on our red grapes vineyards located on the Right Bank.

This is a hard hit but fortunately we hold stocks of back vintages which will help us to keep supplying our customers around the world.

We have compiled the harvest datas from the last 40 vintages to look where the 2017 was fitting: exactly the same level as the frost of 1991
